Why recognize International Coffee Day and not National Coffee Day? As we all know all of our coffee comes from countries outside of the US although there is some grown in the states we do not use it. Our Coffee Shop would not operate without our neighbors. We buy coffee from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Sumatra. We work with an importer for most of the coffees. The Nicaragua is our longest relation. We buy coffee from the Mierisch Family Farm. We had the pleasure of meeting Erwin which is the fifth generation. Our Sumatra comes from the Kerinci Valley and is a coffee we have got from the start. We are working direct trade with Colombia which brings new relations and a fun aspect. Our goal is to serve the best quality coffee we can and that means lots of testing and talking to different people along the way. There are many hands the coffee has to pass through before it is poured in your cup. Coffee is built with relationships and love. Love for the craft and love for the people. Our Goal is to Elevate the Ordinary!
